Pleasantly balanced therapy is a practice that focuses on helping our clients ground themselves in the present moment and find peace in aligning with the freedom to be who they truly are.

 Do you wear so many hats that you just want to run away? Do you ask yourself how can I find more time in the day? Are you feeling unsupported or having difficulty getting your needs met? Perhaps you have lost someone and feel like the pain will never end or are unsure of how you feel in general (emotion soup). You are not alone and we are here to help you navigate your healing journey.

 

 At Pleasantly Balanced Therapy we encourage our clients to see and be the strength that is already within them. We use an integrative approach with the individuals we serve in that each person is unique and processes thoughts differently. Mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy allows clients to find peace within themselves through grounding. This heightened awareness of self enables individuals to live in accordance with their values even in the face of opposition. In addition, motivational interviewing is used to ensure the counselor-client relationship is based on the elements that the client would like to address.
